Lancaster-Lebanon League Tennis All Stars and Academic All Stars Recognized at the Koser Jewelers Pro-Circuit Tennis Tournament!

The second annual male and female tennis All-Stars were recognized at the finals of the Koser Jewelers Pro-Circuit Tennis Tournament on August 10, 2014, at the Hempfield Rec Center.  The players were recognized after the doubles final and before the singles final. Each All-Star receivef a medal on court to commemorate their achievement. In addition…two senior Academic All-Stars (1 girl and 1 boy) were recognized and awarded a $500 scholarship for their outstanding academics in high school as well as their Varsity tennis contributions.  Winners were Elliot Rodriguez from JP McCaskey High School who will be attending Gettysburg College this fall and Cedar Crest graduate,

Coaches…here are the requirements for All-Academic awards:

  1. High school senior (2013-14)
  2. Overall GPA of a 3.75/4.0 scale or higher
  3. Played in the top 8 of varsity team
  4. Attending college in the fall
  5. List of High school achievements/awards
